Rural School Partnerships provide much more then just school supplies for a rural community school, it creates an exchange and connection between schools, classes, youth groups, clubs in the US and schools in rural San Ram贸n.聽 SCSRN helps facilitate the personal connection between partnered groups and schools.聽 Students at both sister schools have the opportunity to exchange letters and photographs. Some schools even schedule visits to their sister school in San Ram贸n

Rural School Partnerships are a great opportunity for students to improve language skills, , participate in intercultural dialogue and explore issues of social justice. SCSRN currently has 13 rural school partners and we are eager to expand so that eventually all 72 schools in the county of San Ram贸n have partners.
